When a system comes out closing sales completely for you it can sound too good to be true. Especially if it is under priced.

What the heck are you talking about?

I am talking about YouTube, and getting started using video. I haven’t used Youtube very much. I think I might have somewhere around 3 videos there. One is my shop after the two 12’ doors were installed.

The second video,  is one my wife took of me trying out an antique apple peeler corer. Made in Erie PA. Talk Biz fans ought to appreciate that. Yup, I am a fan too.

The third is a video about getting started with Get Response’s auto responder system.
Well I got an email today, telling me about a new system that will help you make $100 daily with ClickBank, JVZOO, and Warriorplus.

Skeptical as I am about income claims, I click the link to check this system out. The sales letter wasn’t all that great, and it did get the point across that this wasn’t another CPA program.

That’s refreshing.

It did mention youtube, and using other peoples video’s. That part got me hook BTW. This strategy is great for those if you are shy, hate the sound of your own voice but you want to make some money from 30 minutes of effort… did I mention that you need to like to use O-T-H-E-R- peoples video’s?

 I did? okay. 

Or don’t have a clue about video marketing like myself, then this just maybe for you.
Not to mention it is super cheap. I am talking about a soda and candy bar at the check out at Wal-Mart cheap. Well… It is cheaper than that.

How to get traffic to your money site
Traffic is your money sites life’s blood. Without traffic no one will ever know that you are on the web. There are two ways to get traffic to your site. One is paid traffic which is fast normally the same day, the other is free traffic, a little slower but traffic that can’t be turn off.

Paid Traffic
There are many ways on the internet to get targeted traffic to your money site.

·         Textual advertising.
       Pretty much like it sounds, you write a classified type ad that links to your money making website. Using a textual advertiser like .txt180 that sends your text ad to phones.

·         Pay per Click. 
       Pay per click advertising is one of the best ways in my opinion to get targeted traffic. If you have ever used a search engine, the ads on the right side bar and at the top of the page usually the first 3 results are pay per click advertising. These are again classified style ads that you bid on or pay a fix price per click or what is normally called a lead.

·         Newsletter advertising. 
      This is a different type of advertising all together. Generally more targeted than Pay per Click because newsletter are niche specific in nature. Cost vary depending on publication size. The type of ad used in newsletters will depend on the publisher. It may be classified style, banners, text, etc.

·         Website advertising. 

      Generally on websites the advertising is usually a 125X125 banner that sits on the side bar. Depending on the site they could use banners, pop ups, slide in ads, footer ads etc. Generally cost more than PPC, or textual ads because these ads sit on the home page of sites. Basically you are renting the space for your ad and provide the banner or content.

Free Traffic

Paid traffic is great but free traffic is even better. With free traffic you can’t turn it off. It is slower to generate but if you continue to use the tactics provided in this post over time you just may get more traffic from these free sources than from paid traffic.

Article directories. 
The basics are you write articles and upload them to article directories such as Ezine articles. If a publisher reads and likes your article they will generally publish it in their newsletter or ezine. You’ll benefit from their subscribers by having a link at the end of the article to your money site. This increases traffic leads and sales.

Guest blogging. 
Guest blogging is similar to writing articles, except you are writing a blog post for a niche specific blog. The blog owner will give you topics to write about that are related to their niche. You will log into their blog and post the article. Again Traffic to your site will come from an author bio box or signature line at the end of the blog post.

Optimizing your money site for search engine traffic is going to be one of the best use of your time. By using medium keywords in the title, sub headings and once or twice for every 100 words of content your page will be crawled by search spiders and listed in search engines. The more good links you have coming into a page the better and the higher the PR the better you will rank.

Blog commenting. 
One of the easiest ways to get a link back to your money site and extra traffic is to comment on blogs that are similar to your money site. Don’t use cookie cutter comments that has nothing to do with the content. Instead be interactive by reading the post and leave a good comment.

Forum marketing.
Like blog commenting you will leave replies one forum threads and even create a thread of your own. Most forums allow you to create a signature line that appears at the end of each comment or post that you create which has a link back to your money site.

Book marking sucks: get them on your list
One of the best ways to get traffic to your money site is by having a list. You’ll need a service such as Aweber or Constant contact. These programs generally cost a monthly fee. Once you have an autoresponder you can create a newsletter to attract potential subscribers to sign up to your list. You can also have subscribers join your list by asking them to receive updates of new posts if you’re running a money blog site.
Either way the autoresponder service you use will have a form that you can place on your site that potential list members can fill out in order to get on your list.


You’ve just discovered the difference between a static html site and a content management system such as word press that you can use for your money site. Social sites like Twitter, Facebook, and StumbleUpon are hot and  getting hotter all the time. Both online and offline businesses are jumping into social media marketing craze and for a good reason.

 It works.

To push past your competition, you'll want to continually build relationships and stay ever-connected in the social metting-places.

Social media can help you to accomplish this. Not to mention that it's fun & very profitable.
Thankfully, there are simple and effective ways to use these social networking sites to help you grow your business.

 I took a small poll of business owners in the Lake of the Ozarks area.

The question I ask was:
“Do you use social media sites to help you grow your business?”
I was stunned by the answers I received from this poll. Here are some of the responses.
  • I don’t know how to use it
  • I don’t have time to play on the computer all day
  • I use facebook for personal use but not for business
  • I’ve heard of twitter but never tried it.

Wow, to say the least I was shock by the responses. That is why I decided to write this post. Actually this is going to be just the first part of many blog post to come on social media marketing   to show you the  service business owner, why you need to be using social media networking to help you grow your business.
I'll share some of those tips with you now.

Mixxing with social media?

Here is an easy way of looking at social media, especially Twitter. Before web 2.0 you use to bookmark or save a sites  url's in your favorites on the browser like Internet explorer or Netscape. All you have to do is hit contro and "D" to bookmark. This way you wouldn't have to write them down in a notepad just to remember them or share them with a friend through email.

Those were the good 'ol days. Luckily there wasn't millions of sites back then like there is Today.
In social media terms this is called bookmarking. The only difference is now you share your bookmarks with your friends and really the world, with sites like facebook,, squidoo and a host of many other social media sites out there.

So, if you like an article or a certain blog or web site, even a video you would now post it on facebook, tweet it on twitter, digg it on or link to it from You Tube. You could even StumbleUpon many new sites that will Propell your mind to new heights.

It's really genius.
If you think of social media this way instead of all the noise that is out in cyberspace, that will "mixx" you up, you will have it a lot easier than most getting your feet wet in social media.

Many people are using twitter as a way to connect with colleagues, family, friends, and customers. If you haven't tried Twitter, now may be the best time to set up an account and see what it's all about.

Twitter is a "micro blogging" community where you can write (in 140 characters or less) anything you'd like. Well Almosst anything:) You can update people about your day, share resources, send a link to your websites, etc. - anything that you feel your followers will find useful or interesting.

When you're a member of twitter you "follow" people and they will "follow" you. At-least-in-theory, some don’t.
This just means that when you log in to your twitter account you will see the messages posted by those who you're following. Likewise, the people who have decided to follow you will see your messages.


 Mr. Realtor follows Paul’s super market. So, when Mr. realtor logs into his Twitter account, he can see Paul's Super market updates on his screen along with all of the other people he is following.
Assuming you're using Twitter for marketing and growing your customer base, the people you follow and those who follow you should be highly targeted.

They log in because they are interested in what you and others have to say. Since there are only 140 characters allowed per “tweet” (twitter post), you'll want to encourage your followers to follow your link for more information on what you are referring to.

There are many applications and third party vendors that you can use to utilize twitter and turn it into a super automated marketing tool. A word of caution, it is wise to use twitter out the box first then once you have a good following and understand how to use it, then it may be time to automate.
If you use this Twitter in the correct way you'll gain loyal followers which leads to targeted traffic and then very targeted customers.

Some have even found Twitter traffic to be more targeted than Pay-Per-Click and article marketing, both which have been deemed proven methods of internet marketing.

Follow or Not to Follow? Linking Structure

Follow Linking

Many bloggers are confused about follow and no follow links, from their blogs. The reason so many are concerned is because it affects your Page score. Google’s robots will follow a link from your post and see where it leads. If it is not something that it feels relevant to your post, it will score you lower than if the link is relevant, especially if you are using an affiliate link. This could mean the difference of being on page 1 in a search or finding your post on page 205.

In this blog post you’re going to learn the difference between a follow and no follow link.

Basic Follow Link

First let’s deal with a basic follow link:

This is what a link looks like in html formatting: Free Training.

Google will look at that link and assume that goes to  a free training page. Now if you use a link like that in your post that doesn’t link somewhere to your site and instead links to another website then Google will assume that it is spam (maybe) and give you a lower on page pr score.

No follow Linking

When I write a linking post, I always use a “no follow” links which tells Google’s robots not to follow that particular link. Here is what a no follow link looks like: <a href="" rel=”nofollow">Free Training</a>.

All web pages even blogs, use html coding just like a regular website. If you are writing a post in word press you will notice that the editor has a visual tab and a text tab. If you click on the visual tab, you will see a bunch of extra characters around your text. This is where you will place any extra html code that your text editor doesn’t have built into it. On Google's blogger platform you will have compose and HTML tabs.

So the next time you write a link post or add any off site link such as an affiliate link in your post just use the no follow link instead of a normal link. Save those for your linking to other posts or pages on your own blog.
